The rated load of the buffer idler is the same as that of the standard idler. The buffer idler mainly plays a buffer role. The buffer idler is used to slow down the impact of blanking on the conveyor belt at the feeding place of the belt conveyor.

In the process of transporting heavy and bulky materials, it is sometimes necessary to install the buffer idler along the whole conveyor line. Buffer roller itself has more than ten times the toughness of ordinary metal corrosion resistance, flame retardant, antistatic, lightweight, and other characteristics, widely used in mining.
